Menkleberg font was born out of lettering we have created for the exhibition “The studio for Designing Dreams”. Once the exhibition was over, we decided to develop the lettering into a full Hebrew alphabet and turn it into an actual font. Menkleberg is a playful single-line font, inspired by pixel snake games – with letters that are almost entirely designed on a uniformed grid. Most of its letters and symbols have the same x height, a decision that has brought some creative graphic solutions that gives the font its unique character.
