Yayoi Kusama’s exhibition in the Tel-Aviv museum of art was a huge commercial success, with tickets sold out several months in advance, long lines, and a total of over 620,000 visitors. The endless lines that were formed especially in front of the artist’s Instagrammable works have re-sparked the debate about popular art in the age of social media.

After visiting the exhibition for ourselves, we have decided to add our piece to the discussion and created an illustrated gif-based landing page, that offers people who want to the exhibition but didn’t have the patience to wait in line for a selfie, to create a faux selfie with one of Kusama’s famous works.
