“Taste of Home” is a single-day festival organized by “Zumu” during the Iron Swords War in 2023. This event is exclusively dedicated to the displaced community of the Shaar Hanegev regional council, who were relocated from their homes three months prior to the occasion. The primary objective was to recreate, if only for a day, the sense of community, cherished memories, the warmth of home, and the vast openness they once knew.
The festival’s brand identity is crafted around a gentle, naive, and optimistic illustration that captures the essence of stepping into the Expo Exhibition Center in Tel Aviv, transformed for a day to resemble the open landscapes of Gaza Envelope. Bold and vibrant colors, notably the iconic yellow representing the return of the hostages at that time, along with an organic and playful logotype, collectively envelop the event in a visually striking and heartwarming graphic identity.
