Na-Lagaat “please touch”) is a unique non-profit arts and culture centre. The centre is essentially a meeting place for the deaf and the blind with the general hearing and seeing population. The centre include Na-Lagaat theatre, “Capiche” event venue, the “Blackout” restaurant, and numerous workshops. We have designed for Na-Lagaat an online platform that corresponds with the centre’s main goals – breaking barriers and getting the general public more acquainted with the blind/deaf experience. These values are present both in the websites design (such as its obscure dark colour scheme), and in small UX gestures such as temporarily blurred texts and darkened photos.
